Anonymized note data. Your entries (collections of bullet notes) and notes are stored on Entry servers using an anonymized identification. We cannot know who the data belongs to. We store a token that identifies you as a user but we have no way of linking that to your personal identification.
Entry’s iOS app collects anonymous data about usage, such as the # of times users open Entry and performance statistics such as the number of times Entry crashes. This data is used to help identify the root cause of bugs and areas of improvements.
We use the information collected to improve our customer experience, websites, apps and customer support.
In the future, we may acquire, or be acquired by, another business. In the event of a company transaction, your data may be merged with another businesses.
In the event of a subpoena, court order, or other legal requirements, we may disclose your information to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims; to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud or abuse, violations of our policies; or to protect our right and property.
Security is a high priority at Entry. We utilize an HTTPS connection to communicate with our servers. Entry does not use passwords and instead leverages identification services offered by verified third-parties such as Apple’s iCloud.
California Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
We comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.
Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
We do not knowingly collect or maintain information at our website or app from those who are under 13. No part of the Entry website or app is structured or marketed to attract anyone under 13.
Information for European Union Customers
By using Entry and providing your information, you authorize us to collect, use, and store your information outside of the European Union.
International Transfers of Information
Information may be processed, stored, and used outside of the country in which you are located. Data privacy laws vary across jurisdictions, and different laws may be applicable to your data depending on where it is processed, stored, or used.
